My name is Emmet Farrell. I come from Galway but I’ve lived in Dublin for four years, and I love design.

I’ve just graduated from VisComm in IADT and when I’m not hunting for a job I enjoy walking, newspapers, waking up early, the colour orange (the fruit’s alright), being Irish, the coast, brushing my teeth and general tidiness.

I’ve skydived over the Palm Islands; been donating platelets for years; swam with sharks; competed in the Belgian International Rowing Championships.

I want to travel the world; build my own house; do a Masters; have coffee with Erik Spiekermann; live in isolation for a short period designing type.

I’ve worked as a freelance designer; a trainee designer; a waiter & barista; a shop assistant; one of those kids that sell strawberries on the dual carriageway (pretty good money when you’re twelve).

I want to work in a small to medium sized design firm with like minded co-workers, maybe one that specialises in typographic design, or editorial design, and has a coffee machine.

But enough about me. Want to see some of my work? Ooooor, you could find out even more about me.
